Vanguard 101 : Being Advanced

Every newcomer feeling. right?

I'm actually pretty new to this game, been playing from the release of Set 12 or so.
During my early days, it is so hard to find myself a good source of newbie guides to be an advanced players as fast as possible.
Not until i read V-Mundi's Vanguard 101 Articles. read it here.
While the whole article was a good read, REAL GOOD one at that. Some people doesn't have the time and hearts to read all of them.
So, i'm trying to compile everything I took from V-Mundi and mustering all my knowledge and past experiences for creating a simple, straightforward article to help everyone advancing themselves.

19/01/15 Anime Episode Review

SSAAAHH!!

This update was coming out late because i had some small matters and been testing non-stop for upcoming Cardfight!! Vanguard January Update articles.

This week i also watched Aldnoah.Zero and Cross Ange, Both was high level of satisfaction, but I'm not going to do some review on them because i doesn't even watch Aldnoah's first season and Cross Ange was my seasonal dose of slight fan-service shows.

OTT - Clan Analysis

Another Clan from the small-yet-full-of-clan United Sanctuary. The Oracle Think Tank is a corporation of individuals talented in magic that use their powers to predict the future.
Unlike other clans that focused on sheer power, OTT played their game elegantly.
They play with high level of techniques and bring you the power to foresaw and forge your own future, and also let you draw as much as you want. Or you just want to mix them altogether?

Nova Grappler - Clan Analysis

Nova Grappler, a clan from Star Gate full of Mecha, Workeroid, and many other things from an event called 'Nova Grapple' a no-holds-barred tournament that was Star Gate's main attraction.
A clan full of mechanized muscle battling each other.

Nova Grappler full of offensive minded unit that gaining advantage by standing a unit to extend their attack wave.

First Anime Review Post!

Last year i decided that I only going to watch Vanguard, Log Horizon, iM@S, KuroBas, amd Gundam shows.
and then I added Assasination Classroom because my friend was watching that show on class and i noticed something... yellow.
If during following season I find some new, interesting shows I might write some few things about them.

Royal Paladin - Clan Analysis

Young Master and his loyal knight in silver armor

Royal Paladin is a clan from the ever-crowded United Sanctuary. filled with Knights, Animals, Animal Breeders, Dragons, and many other things with silver armor. Still wondering why they still not going to be called Silver Paladin instead.

Royal Paladin focused on calling RGs and gaining advantage by having a spawn of units and sometimes giving power to the RGs for onslaught purposes. but Shion's Royal Paladins preferred to superior calling G2 over calling anything for a generally cheaper costs and making some unnoticed unit a chance.

Kagero - Clan Analysis

Kagero in Japanese means Heat Haze, and a clan full of Lizards, Humans, and Dragons clad in fire. They play to control the flow of the game by retiring, restanding, gaining power and crit, and man other ridiculous ways.

in VG-G-BT01 we had 2 different decklist with 2 different purpose. The first one is a Stride focused deck with Dragonic Blademaster and the Legion focused with Dragonic Overlord, The X which is irrationally stupid and by the time this unit revealed I already foresaw a future filled with him.

Gear Chronicle - Clan Analysis

Gear Chronicle (GC) is a clan from Dark Zone Nation, they're our newest addition from ever growing clan list. Units in GC mainly themed around machinery dragons, people, and animals with gears all around their body

As for VG-G-TD01 and VG-G-BT01 releases, the clan gimmicks revolved around their ability to manipulate time; both for themselves or their opponents. The skill consist of putting your opponent Rearguard(s) to bottom deck, Guard restricting, and ridiculously enough; give you additional turn.

Let's be quick, it's just an obligatory post anyway.

And kids, that how you do a camouflage on suburban area.

I'm Adrindrata, i'm a student at somewhere on the Far East and i randomly loved Gunpla, Cardfight!! Vanguard, and trying to do some article on them.
In this blog i'm trying to give you :

1. Gunpla Reviews, mostly on HG Line. Do note that i can't buy every single kit out there so primarily i only buy Long-Range unit such as GM Sniper, Dynames, etc. Heavy Artillery unit such as Virtue, Gundam Double X, AGE-3 Orbital, etc. and some random unit i fell in love with such as R-Gyagya, G-Bouncer, Farsia, etc.
2. Cardfight!! Vanguard Deck Recipes & Review. Do note i only do Japanese releases from VG-G-BT01 and VG-G-TD01 onwards while putting some old, dependable decks from later sets.
3. Math Calculation behind my CFVG decks, i came from V-Mundi VG Community then please bear with it.
4. Vanguard 101 for Beginner. Since CFVG take a new step on their new season, there's going to be a lot new reference on deckbuilding, card analysis, etc. over the old 'Generation'
5. Anime Reviews. Do note i only make reviews for on-going Anime starting from next season.

Looking at that list myself, I realize that you guys better came back after few months so i can give you better view on the kit reviews, deck reviews, and anime reviews.

tl;dr; 

This site mainly posts about CFVG decks, HG kit reviews from Bandai, and my ranting about anime shows.
